Over the past three weeks, Trentham Estate has been involved in two major Wine Shows, and once again, has come out with a collection of distinguished medals.

At the 2003 Royal Queensland Wine Show held three weeks ago, Trentham received 1 Silver and 4 Bronze medals. The SILVER was awarded to the 2002 Merlot. BRONZES to the 2003 Chardonnay, 2003 Viognier, 2001 Shiraz and the 2001 Petit Verdot.

But the real success came from the prestigious Royal Melbourne Wine Show, which was held yesterday (7th August 2003)In what is known as Trentham Estate’s best ever wine show success, they received 2 GOLD and 18 BRONZE medals.

GOLD was awarded to the 2003 Chardonnay and the 2003 Viognier. BRONZES for the 2002 Sparkling Brut, 2002 Viognier, 2001 & 2002 Noble Taminga, 2001 Pinot Noir, 2001 & 2002 Merlot, 2001 & 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2000 & 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot, 2000 & 2001 Shiraz, 1999 & 2001 Cellar Reserve Shiraz, 2002 Victorian Pinot Noir and the 2001 Victorian Shiraz.
