Grant Burge Wines is celebrating today having been awarded 15 medals out of 17 entries at the Queensland Wine Show Awards held in Brisbane.
The highlight of the Burge haul was for the 2008 Abednego Shiraz Grenache Mourvédre, receiving the Top Gold Medal of the show, which is allocated to the single highest awarded wine.
Bringing home a total of two Gold, four Silver and nine Bronze medals the win further strengthens Grant Burge’s reputation as one of Australia’s most awarded winemakers.
When told of the awards Grant was again proud to be recognised and excited to see further recognition for his wines.
“With Gold medals for Abednego and Meshach and Silvers for Filsell, Shadrach, and Corryton Park, we’ve been further encouraged that our super premium offerings are amongst the finest this country produces," said Grant.
The Queensland Wine Show receives more than 24,000 entries across 20 major categories each year. Among the list of medals awarded to Grant Burge Wines were:
