Australia’s Finest Wine Tasting - Langton’s Classification of Australian Wine V

24/07/2010

Wine lovers have the opportunity to taste the greatest collection of Australian wines assembled in one place at the Langton’s Classification of Australian Wine V tastings in Melbourne and Sydney this October.

To celebrate the fifth release of the prestigious ranking and form guide of Australia’s finest wines, Langton’s is hosting a tasting of all the wines in the Classification.

A tasting of this depth and quality is usually reserved for wine trade or wine media and this is the first time consumers will be able to experience the definitive collection of more than 100 of Australian finest wines.

Langton’s Classification of Australian Wine V will be announced at the end of September, highlighting the strongest performing wines on the Australian wine auction market.  The rankings – Exceptional, Outstanding, Excellent and  Distinguished – are based on auction price, track record, volume of demand and reputation.

This is the fifth Langton’s Classification compiled since it began in 1991.

An unprecedented event, consumers can for the first time experience every wine in the Classification in one place, at one time.
